Sweet Thing-Charlotte children’s and family photography

I haven’t seen this cutie and her family for two years.  She has grown up so much!  I loved their family session two years ago, but this one is even better!

Little K and I became instant friends, despite her not remembering me (of course!) from our past photo session.  She was such a joy to work with with an infectious giggle.  I especially love all of her expressions…..such an adorable child to photograph!  We chose to do a combination of urban shots in Fort Mill mixed with some more rural outdoor shots.  Her mama had some amazing clothes picked out for her.  Check out this skirt… how fun and colorful!  I want one in MY size!!

K loved the lace crown that I had made, and ran around the field picking dandelions for her parents and me. Yes, for all of your Northern folks, we STILL have dandelions blooming here in Charlotte 🙂

At the end of the session, just as the sun was beginning to sink, Miss K was pretty wiped out from all the frolicking, and sat down in my yellow chair and did the pose below all on her own.  How lovely!  I just love moments like these.

Thank you so much S family for the opportunity to work with K as she grows from a cute toddler to a sweet child!

xoxo

These were wonderful photo’s of my photogenic little grand-daughter. She is so full of life, and extremely smart, with such a wonderful personality. She is so very precious to both her Gran and myself. It appears she is born to model, loves dancing, singing and just being on stage. Her mother is definitely cloned a child that is so very much like she was growing up. Oh, how I miss those wonderful times and I am so thankful for little Kenadie ( her Grans’ name sake).
Thank you for letting us take a sneak-peak of the photographs.

Inspirational images! I love the back lit shots, they create such atmosphere. A really casual posing style that still lends structure to the image too!
